The Casoer College women's basketball team turned in their most impressive effort of the year as they rolled Region IX rival Western Nebraska on Monday night at the Erickson Gym 83-63. Western Nebraska shot just 27% from the field, in part to a solid defensive effort from the T-Birds. Casper College also received an amazing performance from Nerea Baena who poured in 26 points and also hauled down 20 rebounds. Former NCHS star Jaye Johnson had 16, Lucie Hoskova had 13 and Maggie Justinak chipped in a dozen. The Birds shot 45% from the field for the game and 52% in the 2nd half. Casper improved to 11-4 on the year while the Cougars drop to 12-4. C.C. will host Central Wyoming on Wednesday night at 5:30
