The Casper College volleyball team opened the season on Thursday night with a 3 games to none win over Miles City, Montana 27-25, 25-17 and 25-17. The Birds will be relatively young this year with 5 sophomores but also will have 5 players from Wyoming. Natrona grad Kylie Watson leads that group and Star Valley's Olivia Muir had an impressive debut on Thursday night. Joining those 2 from the Wyoming prep ranks will be Ashlyn Titensor from Laramie, Ailee Bugas from Mountain View and Hailey Anderson from Southeast. The T-Birds went 13-20 a year ago so improvement is the name of the game. Casper College is hosting a round-robin tournament to start the season and they'll have 2 matches on Friday and one on Saturday. Next week, the T-Birds will be in the Otero tournament and the CSI tournament the following week.
