From first appearances, it looks like breakaway roping and steer wrestling will be on top of the list of hotly-contested college events in the Central Rocky Mountain Region this year. The second rodeo of the fall season is being hosted by Sheridan College this weekend. In breakaway roping at Chadron on Sunday just seven-tenths of a second separated the top ten student-athletes and Casper College junior Kaelie Oliver entered the short-go with the lead. The Douglas, WY native held up under pressure keeping the #1 spot. UW all-around cowboy and Montana native Caden Camp plucked his first 2019-20 steer wrestling crown at Chadron doing so with a Sunday blast throwing down in under four seconds. Several other bulldoggers finished in less than five in the finals.
