Many bronc riders flew off early at the spring season opener in the Central Rocky Mountain Region hosted by Gillette College. Pronghorn Jacob Kammerer kept his seat to win the championship round while Garrett Buckley from Casper College took the overall title. Casper's Cole Reiner was high-marked man of the weekend to win the bareback riding competition on a Burch Rodeo Co. horse that was a big bucker. Reiner is from Kaycee, WY and has placed at every rodeo this year, the first half of which was for Sheridan College. He transferred over the winter break. All three young men are also currently riding in the pro ranks.
