Casper College Ladies Earn Spot in Region IX Semi’s

The Casper College women's basketball team turned in a solid performance in beating Otero 75-49 in the 2nd round of the Region IX tournament in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on Thursday night. Maggie Justinak had an outstanding game for Casper with 25 points on 10-13 from the field. Lucie Hoskova added 22 on 8 of 9 from the floor. Overall, the Birds shot 53% from the floor to get to 26-6 on the year. Caper College has now reached the semi-final round of the Region IX Tournament and will meet Northeastern Colorado on Friday night at 5pm in Scottsbluff.
