C.C. Sweeps Western Wyoming

The Casper College basketball teams enjoyed some success over the weekend with wins over Western Wyoming from Rock Springs. The T-Bird women had no problem with Western on Saturday with a 90-65 victory. Natalia Panufnik led the way with 14 and Lucy Hoskova had 13. The Casper College women are 24-2 on the year, ranked 17th in the nation.

The Casper College men got back on the winning track after a loss to Miles City last week as they nipped Western Wyoming 68-67 on Saturday. Chase Winchester was Casper's leading scorer with 20 with Nolan Bertain chipping in a dozen. The T-Birds improved to 18-8 on the season. Both C.C. teams will host Central Wyoming from Riverton om Wednesday at the Erickson Gym.
