Attempted Break-In Reported at Casper College Library

UPDATE 3:15 p.m. Thursday: Casper College officials say the Casper Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the break-in incident Thursday morning at Casper College's Goodstein Library.

An attempted break-in at a library on the Casper College campus triggered an alert from the school Thursday morning.

Casper College released information regarding the attempted break-in shortly before 11:00 a.m. Thursday. In the alert, officials said the suspect tried to break into an office at the Goodstein Library.

Officials say the suspect is a 5-foot-9 white male with a thin build and rimmed glasses. Officials also say the suspect was wearing a black leather coat at the time of the attempted break-in.

Casper College urges those with more information to call 911 immediately.
