Two Casper women were arrested after being involved in a case of road rage.

Twenty-four year old Ashley Hodges has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, while 55-year-old Judy Mullen is facing one charge of accessory after the fact.

Investigators say on Saturday afternoon June 15th, two people were driving westbound on East First Street, heading towards McKinley, when another vehicle driven by Mullen, pulled out in front of them from McKinley.

When the first driver attempted to get the license plate and registration, Mullen pulled over, and Hodges got out of the passenger's side, shouted profanities at them and  threatened them and their two children with a knife.

When interviewed by police, Mullen said Hodges was not with her at the time, but the victims were able to pick Hodges out of a photo line-up and Mullen was then arrested.

It turned out Hodges is Mullen's daughter.

Officers later found Hodges who admitted her involvement.

She also told police she got rid of the knife.

While being searched, investigators found several small plastic bags, containing what turned out to be meth and marijuana.

Hodges is being held on $20,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face up to 10 years in prison on the agg. assault charge if convicted.

Mullen was given a $500 PR bond, and could face up to 6 months in jail in her case.
