A Casper man is accused of burglarizing a home and stealing food along with a stored umbilical cord.

Zachary Allen Hardman, 24, was arrested Tuesday on recommended charges of property destruction and burglary.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, a woman arrived home from work Tuesday afternoon and found that someone broke into her home. About half of the woman's clothing was cut up, according to the affidavit.

Along with her clothes, a bedroom set of blankets and pillows were also cut up, the affidavit says.

The burglar entered the home through a window, according to the affidavit.

Along with finding destroyed property in her home, the woman also found threatening notes.

According to the affidavit, the day before, Hardman allegedly went to the woman's home and smashed the roof of her car in. Before that, Hardman allegedly went to her home and smashed her car's windshield.

Hardman also allegedly stole food, a vacuum cleaner, baby books, cut locks of hair and a stored umbilical cord.
