Accident On Hwy 59 North Of Wright Closes Highway

UPDATE 11:00 AM; Dispatch is reporting 9 vehicles involved and 3 fatalities as well as numerous injuries.

A crash reportedly involving multiple vehicles on Highway 59 North of Wright, WY occurred around 7:30 AM this morning.  Emergency personnel from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Campbell County Sheriffs Office as well as numerous other agencies are on scene.  There are reports of numerous injuries and multiple fatalities.

The highway is blocked bot northbound and southbound at this time and  crews are anticipating it to take several hours to clear vehicles and make the necessary repairs  to get traffic moving again on Highway 59.  Motorists are asked to be patient and if traveling this direction you are asked to find alternative routes at this time.
