Wyoming Resident Dead After Crash; Medical Condition Suspected
A Wyoming resident is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash near Pinedale, and authorities suspect a possible medical condition may be to blame.
Michale Ramsey, 59, was not wearing a seat belt, according to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on Ehman Lane shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday. Ramsey was northbound in a Ford F-250 when the pickup gradually drifted outside the lane of travel onto the shoulder.
The pickup continued away from the roadway and eventually crossed a biking path to the east. The pickup then crashed into a road approach culvert, causing the vehicle to enter a clockwise spin and roll once.
"Evidence at the scene indicated the driver performed no braking or steering input after leaving the roadway," the report states.
A possible medical condition on the part of Ramsey is being investigated as a contributing factor in the crash.
The road surface was dry and weather was clear at the time of the wreck.
