Wyoming Man Dies In Idaho ATV Crash
SODA SPRINGS, Idaho (AP) — Officials in southwestern Wyoming say a 49-year-old Wyoming man died of injuries suffered in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Caribou County, Idaho over the weekend.
Lincoln County, Wyo., Coroner Mike Richins said Don Lampe of Bedford, Wyo., suffered a severe crushing injury to the chest after he was thrown from the ATV Saturday afternoon and it landed on top of him.
Lampe was riding in Crow Canyon with his son, who called for help at around 5 p.m. Saturday. Lampe was declared dead on arrival at the Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, Wyo., at 8:53 p.m.
