The Charger rolled into a power pole and crossed an irrigation ditch before coming to rest in a field, where it caught fire and "was burned beyond recognition." Weythman was totally ejected during the rollover.
The highway was wet at the time of the crash, beneath overcast skies. Investigators list speed and driver fatigue as possible contributing factors.
"Toxicology results are pending on the driver to determine if alcohol and or drug use were contributing factors," the crash report concludes.
