Starting next week trail users at Rotary Park may encounter the University of Wyoming Conservation Corp at work.

Natrona County Parks and Rec new Assistant Superintendent, Dick O'Hearn says a team of eight will spend two weeks charged with trail improvements.

"Clearing and grubbing and widening and improving and maintaining of the existing trail network on the west side that's on county property."

This phase of work will not include elements in a master plan presented by the Rotary Club recently. That long term vision calls for new trails and observation decks to the east of the falls.

O'Hearn says, eventually they hope to redirect sections of the Bridal Trail on the west side upward and away from private property where the most conflict has arisen. Also under consideration, he says, is vandal proof signage to help direct newcomers to the Bridal Trail system.

The Wyoming Conservation Corp is schedule to work at the park from July 23rd to August 1st.
