Interstate 80 is now open across all of southern Wyoming.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says Interstate 80 will likely remain closed overnight Thursday into Friday.

It would be the second night in a row that the highway has been closed between Cheyenne and Rock Springs.

The westbound lanes of I-80 between Rawlins and Walcott Junction are open. WYDOT advises the roadway is wet and slick in spots in that area.

Interstate 25 from Cheyenne south to the Colorado border is expected to reopen in a few hours.

The latest road conditions are available at WyoRoad.info, by calling 511 or via the Wyoming 511 app.
