A Natrona county woman has been sentenced for her role in starting a fire at a game processing facility.

Tye Brock was sentenced to one-to-five years of probation, after pleading guilty to one count of third degree arson, in which she admitted starting a fire at Pearce Custom Butchering and Processing, just west of Casper.

Fire investigators say the October fire was intentionally set, after finding a lighter fluid bottle inside the building, and determining that the fire started in a pile of clothes.

Brock later told Natrona County Sheriff’s deputies that she did it, because she was upset with her ex-husband.

She thought the two were getting back together, and when it did not work out, she started the fire after drinking earlier in the evening.

Brock has also been order to pay restitution to the insurance company, that helped cover the cost of damage done to Pearce Custom Butchering and Processing.
