Trooper, Pickup Driver Injured in South Cheyenne Crash

A Wyoming trooper and a pickup driver were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a crash in south Cheyenne.

Sgt. Jeremy Beck says the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of W. Jefferson Road and U.S. 85.

"The trooper was patrolling southbound on U.S. 85 when a Dodge Ram pickup entered U.S. 85 from E. Jefferson Road and both vehicles collided," said Beck.

"The trooper and the driver of the Dodge were both transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center with minor injuries," he added.

Beck says the incident is still under investigation.
