A wanted Chicago, Illinois man is behind bars after he was reportedly found passed out behind the wheel at a Cheyenne motel.

A 32 year old Fort Washakie woman was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison with three years of supervised release after allegedly hitting someone in the head with a hand-sized rock.

Two people have been arrested in connection with last August's deadly beating of a Cheyenne transient, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday afternoon.

While Harrington did not originally take responsibility for his actions, he has since done so in a letter to the judge.

"I've sentenced people to life in prison and I didn't blink an eye," stated Judge Josh Eames. "But these are the most difficult cases."

"This came so close to a fatal assault" noted Assistant District Attorney Blaine Nelson in the courtroom.

A 20-year-old Wyoming man has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for hitting and injuring a skateboarder while driving drunk.

The Mills Police Department and the Town of Mills offered more details in the case of former Mills Police Officer Argel Sierra and his assault on a citizen.

She continued her attack, hitting him in the face with her fist. The guard called for help and kept trying to avoid the attack rather than hitting her back.

When officers arrived they spoke to a 44-year-old man who said he had been kidnapped from a convenience store and driven to a storage facility on South Mulberry Street.
