Snow is expected to fall in periods through Tuesday, with bursts of moderate to heavy snow through Tuesday morning.

The snow is expected to taper off Tuesday afternoon.

Roads and highways will be slick and snow-packed, making travel at difficult at times.

Snowfall and blowing snow could severely limit visibilities, which could fall to a quarter of a mile or half a mile in moderate to heavy snowfall.

The advisory urges travelers to use caution, especially in open areas.
