Police, EMS Respond to Rollover Crash in East Casper
UPDATE, 12:25 p.m.: First-responders have cleared the scene.
Casper Police Department Public Information Office Rebekah Ladd said the accident was reported at about 11 a.m. Wednesday. One vehicle was heading east and the second was heading west on Second Street and turning into the mall. The driver of the westbound vehicle did not yield to the oncoming vehicle which was heading east.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was cited for failure to grant a right of way, no seatbelt and no proof of insurance, Ladd said. Two people were in the eastbound vehicle and one person was in the westbound vehicle.
One person was transported to Wyoming Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Police officers and Fire-EMS responded to a multiple-vehicle crash on Casper's east side Wednesday.
A red SUV rolled onto its side in the entrance to Eastridge Mall from Second Street, across from Sam's Club. A second vehicle had its airbags deployed.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured in the crash. We are working with police to confirm further details.
Traffic on Second Street does not appear to be impacted, but the entrance to Eastridge Mall is blocked.
This developing story will be updated.
