One Dead in Wednesday Explosion at Wyoming Oil Processing Site
UPDATE (10:42 a.m.):
Campbell County Sheriff Scott Matheny on Thursday identified the person who died as a result of Wednesday's explosion.
Beau Damori, 36, was a Gillette resident. The Campbell County Coroner's Office is handling the autopsy. Next of kin has been notified.
Matheny told K2 Radio News in a phone interview that two other people were at the site at the time of the explosion. They were uninjured.
Matheny said his deputies did not find anything indicative of a criminal act in connection with the explosion. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration, which is handling the investigation, will likely look for a cause of the explosion today, Matheny added.

One person is dead following an explosion at a northern Wyoming oil processing site on Wednesday.
The name of the person who died has not been released. The investigation has been turned over to the Occupational Health and Safety Administration.
The Campbell County Fire Department said in a statement that firefighters responded to the area of mile marker 132 N Hwy 59 shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday for a reported explosion at the site.
Firefighters arrived at a water treatment facility to find fire burning 10 large oil tanks, two passenger vehicles, two semi-trucks, three buildings, two full 1,700-gallon propane tanks and brush surrounding the site.
It took until 1 a.m. for 16 firefighters and two command officers to extinguish the blaze.
Campbell County Hospital EMS, Wyoming Life Flight, the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol and Powder River Energy all assisted.
