Casper is expected to receive four to eight inches of snow accumulation through late Wednesday night as a strong spring snowstorm moves through the region.

Casper and lower elevations within Natrona County could see wind gusts up to 40 mph as the storm moves through.

Travel could be very difficult as a result of the storm. Areas of blowing snow are expected to significantly reduce visibility, according to the warning.

Hazardous travel conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Travel is expected to be very hazardous or impossible. Anyone who must go out is encouraged to keep an extra flashlight, food and water in their vehicle in case of an emergency.
