Man Arrested After Allegedly Driving Drunk and Hitting a Gas Tank
A man was arrested in Casper yesterday after allegedly running into a gas tank at the Loaf and Jug on East 2nd street and Lennox.
Officers arrested Bryan Gutierrez last (Tuesday) after reports that a black mustang hit a gas tank and that a female passenger fell out of the car.
According to police documents, officers found Gutierrez hiding in a trailer and the female passenger, Veronica Lynn Murray, hiding next to an old pickup.
Murry told officers that they had been driving around drinking beer and that she fell out of the car because the passenger door would not stay closed.
When police located Gutierrez, he told the them that he was hiding because he was a felon. At the Natrona County Detention Center, Gutierrez told officers that he had drank a case and a half of beer.
He was booked on charges of driving under the influence, driving under suspension, interference and driving without insurance.
