The Kelly Walsh boys track team repeated as the 4A champions outlasting Laramie on the final day of competition at the Harry Geldien Stadium. Lamont Frisby won back to back state championships in the 100 and 200 meters with times of 10.96 and 22.96 respectively. His teammate Jared Spaulding finished 2nd in both events as he Trojans piled up 25 points in the 100 meter dash with Cam Carter taking 5th and Joey Zook 6th.

KW also took first place in 2 of the relays. The Trojan team of Frisby, Spaulding, Carter and Zook ran 43.88 to take the gold in the 4x100 while Preston Groemer, Nate Robinson, Nic Robinson and Jacob Pearson teamed up to run 8.12.64 to win the 4x800. Groemer by the way too 2nd in the 800. Caige McComb was 4th in the 300 hurdles.

In the field events, Kelly Walsh went 3-5-6 in the high jump led by Sage Coventry going 6-2. Coventry finished 5th in the long jump and 11th in the triple jump. Ryan Foy took 4th place in the pole vault.
