Kelly Walsh Sweeps Casper Cup Matches

Kelly Walsh posted wins in the Casper Cup soccer matches over Natrona in some chilly conditions on Tuesday night at NC. In the boys match, KW scored in the 3rd minute thanks to a goal from Juan Martinez who joined the Trojan program after playing prep and club ball in Houston. That early goal held up as each team managed just 3 shots on goal. Kelly Walsh improves to 6-5-1 while Natrona drops to 3-8-1. On the ladies side, Kelly Walsh defeated Natrona 2-0 as Noelle Vigneri scored in the 58th minute with Hadlee Hollinger adding a 2nd half goal. Natrona keeper Hannah Trumble was busy making 18 saves, some of them of the spectacular variety. The Lady Trojans improve to 10-2 and the Fillies fall to 1-7-4. Both of the Casper schools will host the Sweetwater County schools Friday and Saturday.
