A congressional watchdog agency has agreed to investigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ oversight of homes for aging veterans following a surge of coronavirus deaths at the state-run facilities.

In a Facebook video that went viral earlier this week, A Sheridan brewery owner said she had not been ensuring her employees wear face masks while on the job, going against state mandates which were designed to allow businesses to reopen while continuing to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The Wyoming Legislature will convene its first special session in 16 years today to help businesses and workers, allocate federal funding and take other action in response to the coronavirus.
