UPDATE: Man Suspected of Robbing 2 Cheyenne Banks Now in Custody

ORIGINAL STORY:

Cheyenne police are on the hunt for a man believed to be behind two bank robberies in Cheyenne Thursday afternoon.

According to a department Facebook post, the man pictured above is suspected of robbing the Jonah Bank of Wyoming at 205 Storey Blvd. and the Western Vista Federal Credit Union at 3207 Sparks Rd.

"He was last seen wearing a black shirt and glasses," the post reads. "He may be traveling in a stolen beige Lincoln vehicle."

Anyone with information about the man's whereabouts is asked to call police dispatch at 307-637-6525.

Police are also advising all financial institutions to close their doors and report any suspicious activity.

Police say the suspect is now in custody and financial institutions can resume normal activity.
