The warrant was for endangering children - controlled substances, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both; and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, both punishable by up to one year in jail, up to a $1,000 fine, or both.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about Dec. 11, 2025.

The detective says George "came out of the house" in the 1900 block of Pershing Pointe Drive "after a surround and call out."

He says George was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center without issue.

Initial Court Appearance

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, George was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.

Williams appointed George a public defender and set her preliminary hearing for Friday, Feb. 6, at 9 a.m.

She then asked for the state's position regarding bond.

"The state's got at least one prior, 2014, out of southwestern Arkansas, possession of a controlled substance charge. There's also been, unknown disposition, but in 2021, looks like out of California with dealing with border patrol, a charge related to alien smuggling. And then the most concerning of all is, as inside the affidavit of probable cause, the community harm and threat to others. The fact that there was a 3-year-old child and that there was an overdose at this residence and the particular types of drugs, that exposure gives great concern as to the safety and well-being of that child, the conduct related there, and so the state would be asking for a $10,000 cash bond," it said.

Bond Set at $10K Cash

"Your bond is $10,000 cash," Williams told George.

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
