Penny’s Diner, Bill Wyoming, Worth The Drive
Out in the middle of NOTHING, on Highway 59, between Gillette and Douglas, Wyoming, is the little town of Bill, population 11, or so they claim.
Back in 2008, a Travel Lodge hotel and a Penny's Diner were built in Bill. Why the heck would anyone build such an expensive hotel and such a nice diner out there? It was because of the railroad workers who needed a place when they were out in Bill switching cars, along with other railroad work.
I drove out to Bill's one Saturday morning. It has been a long time. I was there for one reason: to test out the diner.
I get calls from Bill now and again on my morning radio talk show. Usually, the caller tells me that he is sitting in the diner.

Exploring The Lost Town Of Yoder Wyoming
Between Cheyenne and Torrington, but mostly closer to Torrington, and just off of Highway 85, is, or was, the tiny town of Yoder, Wyoming. For such a forgotten place, you would be surprised at how well-kept it is. Population 133.
