“NO SHAME!” Angry Barrasso Yells At Secret Service Director
Those who know Senator John Barrasso, personally, and those who have seen him enough in the media, know him as a mild-mannered and soft-spoken man.
Even when Wyoming Senato gets passionate on an issue we see only a slight uptick in his temperment.
So it was a little surprising to see Senator Barrasso at the Republican convention chasing down the head of the Secret Service and yelling at her.
“It’s stonewalling!” yelled Sen. John Barrasso.
The chase went across an open room and up a flight of stairs as the director of the Secret Service picked up the pace and tried to get away.
Top Republican leaders from both the House have called on Director Kimberly Cheatle to resign after the attempt on Donald Trump's life.
The director has said she has no intention of resigning.
The director has not been answering questions regarding the incident.
It was a cover your ass moment.
The director of the Secret Service needs to go.
Senator Barrasso said.
In the video below you can hear Senator Barrasso, again, passionate, as he explains why they want her to step down. Scroll 7:00 into the video.
Questions are still unanswered as to how folks at the Trump rally had spotted and reported a suspicious man and even saw him belly crawling on a roof, a little over an hour before the shooter took the shoot.
But nothing was done.
Why weren't there Secret Service agents already on that roof before the rally?
Excuses from the director of the Secret Service include something about the roof being too steep of a pitch to be safe. But other secret service agents were on a steeper sloped roof than that one, with rifles.
Why was Trump allowed on stage when the Secret Service knew that there was a possible threat on a roof in the area?
In a recent interview regarding the incident, the director said that she takes responsibility and that the buck stops with her.
But now she is being accused of "stonewalling" and "gaslighting."
