Casper College will host the upcoming LIFT Wyoming event to encourage high school students to keep Wyoming top of mind as they plan their futures. A growing concern in Wyoming is young Wyomingites looking outside of the Cowboy State for opportunities, leaving, and not coming back.

LIFT - Lead Inspire Fulfill Together

LIFT Wyoming was created for high school students who demonstrate a passion for and desire to learn more about leadership, innovation, and what makes Wyoming such a great place to live and work.

On May 6, students from across the state will hear from and interact with leaders who are making an impact in Wyoming now, with the goal of encouraging the next generation of Wyoming leaders. During the event, the students will gain a deeper understanding of what leadership looks like and have the opportunity to ask questions, build connections, and begin to see a future that keeps them rooted in Wyoming instead
of searching for opportunities elsewhere.

This year's keynote speakers are:

  • Wyoming native, Dallin Cooper.
  • Consultant - Startup Wyoming and Wyoming ranch owner, Casey Sedlack
  • Petroleum Association of Wyoming President, Pete Obermueller
