A Worland Teen  made his initial appearance Friday  morning in Washakie County Circuit Court accused of planning to make a bomb to detonate at Casper College.

Washakie County Attorney, Bill Shelledy,  describes 18 -yr-old, Nick Craft, as a troubled youth...

"Apparently he and his girl friend had broken up and I believe he feels Casper College has changed her ways and changed her against him."

Shelledy says  a tip came in to law enforcement from Facebook users of postings of the alleged bomb making plans.

Shelledy says  Craft had reportedly begun gathering the elements needed with the exception of an explosive...

"There was discussion on the way he was going to do this.  One of the things discussed was that he needed five pounds of gun powder, but in our search, and everything that we had that he said to a third party,  was that he didn't have that available and we found nothing of an explosive nature"

Shelledy says  his opinion is that, because there was no explosive component, there was never an immanent threat to the college community.

Craft remains in custody on a 25 thousand dollar bond charged with a felony for a terrorist threat under state law.  The charge carries a maximum penalty of three years and a 10 thousand dollar fine.
