“Hurry, McMurry”, Biographer Tells Of Writing The Story [AUDIO]

Liner notes for the biography, "Hurry McMurry", describe a man of ambition and high moral standards.

Penned by historian, Ann Chambers Nobel, of Cora, the life of W.N. McMurry includes the evolution of business and infrastructure in 20th century Wyoming and the significant role he played in it.

Nobel says she got a call from Vic McMurry one day asking if she'd be willing to put together a life history of his father, mostly for family consumption, but she says it wasn't long before she realized the magnitude of the story.

McMurry's philanthropic works were marked in 2004 when he received the Newall B. Sargant Philanthropy Award and he is about to be recognized by the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming next month for that same generosity.
