Four Arrested For Drunking Boating on Alcova
CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says it arrested four people for boating under the influence at Alcova Reservoir over the July Fourth weekend.
One boat operator arrested had been arrested for the same offense only 13 days earlier — also on Alcova Reservoir.
West Casper Game Warden Daniel Beach says such conduct shows complete disregard for watercraft laws and the safety of other boaters.
In another case, game wardens stopped a boat that was going through a congested area at a high rate of speed. The boat operator was charged with BUI and failure to provide life jackets as well as child endangerment and possession of marijuana.
