With Veteran's day falling on a Friday this year it makes it a three day weekend for some. In recognition of that, the U.S. Forest Service and other federal land management agencies are offering an incentive for folks to get out into the great outdoors.

Reggy Woodruff for the U.S. Forest Service announced, "the forest service is waiving day use recreation fees at our different sites for this upcoming veterans day weekend."

That free entrance, of course, applies to  Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, just to name a few possibilities here in Wyoming.

The North and Northeast Entrances to Yellowstone National Park will offer free visitor admission to everyone on Friday, November 11, to honor all past and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Throughout the system entrance fees, including commercial tour entrance fees and transportation entrance fees, will be waived at park  sites.
