A Florida man killed in a snowmobile crash in southeast Wyoming's Snowy Range earlier this month has been identified.

A man is dead following a snowmobile crash in southeast Wyoming's Snowy Range, the Albany County Sheriff's Office says.

News sources and social media sites three days ago began notifying the public that the Schells had died in the plane crash.

The aircraft had no identifiable markings and there were no survivors

None of the tracks was on existing administrative or public routes.

Fire danger in the area is currently high.

Investigators determined the blaze originated from an abandoned warming fire in the upper reaches of the Hoback River drainage.

The Forest Service is taking public comments on the new plan for 90 days.

Forest Service law enforcement received information from the public, but needs more.
