A 48-year-old Moorcroft man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday three miles west of Pine Haven in Crook County. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Charles Smith was eastbound on WYO 113 shortly after 10:00 p.m. Sunday, when he lost control of his pickup truck. Investigators say Smith overcorrected, and slid off the road, rolling one-and-a-half times, going over the right-of-way fence.

Smith was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, and was ejected from the truck as it rolled. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Troopers on the scene, the road was icy with blowing snow at the time of the crash.
