An escaped inmate from a minimum security prison, is back in custody.

Shortly after 8pm on Wednesday (September 28th), Casper Police partnering with the Natrona County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Criminal Investigation, apprehended Derrick Lee Brock in the area of 17th and McKinley Streets.

Brock was reported missing back on Friday morning (September 23rd), while on a work detail assignment in Douglas.

Law enforcement had received numerous tips regarding his where-abouts, and he was captured without incident.

Earlier this year, Brock was sentenced to 7-10 years at the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp...a minimum security prison near Newcastle, for larceny.

He is currently being held at the Natrona County Detention Center.
