Douglas Police Investigate Death Of Man On Wednesday
Officers from several law enforcement and other agencies are investigating the death of a man in Douglas on Wednesday, according to a news release from Douglas Police Chief Ron Casalenda on Thursday.
About 9:21 p.m., the Police Department, emergency services from the Memorial Hospital of Converse County and the Douglas Volunteer Fire Department responded to an unknown medical call at a residence in the 400 block of South Fifth Street.
There, officers found the deceased body of a 32-year-old male.
The immediate cause of death is still under investigation.
Officers took into custody a 30-year-old male on unrelated charges.
No names of the individuals involved are being released pending proper notifications.
Agents and crime scene technicians from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
The Converse County Coroner's Office, the Converse County Attorney's Office and the Wyoming State Crime Laboratory are assisting in the investigation.
