With no one from the public speaking for or against the proposals, the Natrona County Commission transferred three county roads to the City of Casper at its meeting Tuesday.

And within an hour, city council on its consent agenda agreed to accept the warranty deeds and assignment of easements of these roads from the county.

According to the commission's agenda, the county and city entered an agreement on Sept. 2 about the future maintenance of roads that lie within or are next to the city limits.

The first of the three transfers was a group of roads: County Road 302, commonly known as Salt Creek Parkway, County Road 326, commonly known as English Avenue, and all the roads within the Salt Creek Heights Business Center Phase One.

The second transfer was County Road 501, commonly known as Wolf Creek Road.

The third transfer was County Road 508, commonly known as Country Club Road.
