Ten years ago the Casper Museum Consortium, which is a joint venture of the Natrona County School District, the City Of Casper and a number of area museums, started the Passport to Adventure Hunt to encourage families to find the various museums around the county and to spend some time at the museums. This year was an outstanding success with hundreds of entries and increased visitation at all of the museums .All summer families have been visiting area museums to experience the exhibits but also to try their luck at winning one of eight prize packages to be awarded at the end of the summer. The Casper Museum Consortium is a group of 8 quality museums or museum-like sites in the Casper area: Audubon Center at Garden Creek, Casper Planetarium, Fort Caspar Museum, National Historical Trails Interpretive Center, Nicolaysen Art Museum, Tate Geological Museum, The Science Zone, Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum and just added The Werner Wildlife Museum. Rachel Hedges runs the marketing for the  consortium and joined us this morning to draw for the prize packages.
