A Casper man who may have drowned in a west Chicago retention pond was identifed by law enforcement. The body of, 31 year old, William Alldredge, was found Thursday. The Chicago Tribune reports that Police in Carol Stream are continuing to investigate what they're calling a "possible drowning death."

Alldredge's mother had contacted police Wednesday afternoon, saying she last spoke to her son Monday and hadn't been able to reach him since that time. He had been staying with a friend in Carol Stream for a few weeks, police said.
A police officer on patrol Thursday morning noticed some clothing in the retention pond, leading to the recovery, police said Friday in a release.

Alldredge was a graduate of Kelly Walsh High School and worked for a brief time for Gapwestbroadcasting in Casper.
