Casper Man Arrested for Choking Woman, Teenage Girl
A Casper man was arrested Monday after allegedly attacking and strangling a woman and a teenage girl in his apartment Sunday evening.
Samuel J. Lukowiak, 22, was booked on charges of assault, domestic assault and strangulation of a household member.
According to court documents, the victims told Casper police they were hanging out together when Lukowiak began making concerning statements via text message.
The victims went to Lukowiak's apartment. He didn't answer the door at first, but eventually let them inside.
Lukowiak was reportedly crying and finished a bottle of Jägermeister, according to the affidavit.
He then allegedly said something to the effect of, "I have no problem killing people," and "I want to feel death."
Lukowiak tried to leave the apartment, but one of the victims reportedly convinced him to stay.
The other victim began yelling at Lukowiak because she believed Lukowiak treated the other victim poorly.
According to the affidavit, Lukowiak was on top of one of the victims in an instant, choking her. The victim reportedly started to lose her breath and began to black out.
Lukowiak allegedly said something to the effect of, "I told you I have no problem killing people."
The other victim was able to pull Lukowiak off the teenage girl, throwing him into a nearby chair to try to calm him down.
Lukowiak then allegedly hit her and tried to strangle her. She was able to keep him from getting a good grip on her throat and started punching Lukowiak in the stomach.
Lukowiak allegedly tried to keep the victims from leaving his apartment, but finally let them go.
Investigators met with the victims at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. An officer asked one of the victims to take screenshots of her text conversation with Lukowiak and email the screenshots to police.
Police tried to find Lukowiak by 'pinging' his phone, but weren't able to find him at the address indicated.
Officers went to Lukowiak's place of employment Monday afternoon and arrested him shortly after 2 p.m.
