Blizzard Warning Now Includes Parts of 11 Wyoming Counties
A blizzard warning from the National Weather Service now includes all or part of 11 counties in the Cowboy State.
Newly included are Albany County, Converse County, Platte County and eastern parts of Carbon County.
Total snow accumulations in Wyoming are expected to range between 12 and 26 inches, according to the warning updated early Wednesday morning. Winds could gust up to 65 mph.
The warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Thursday.
The National Weather Service advises people to not travel within the warning area. Weather is set to make travel very difficult to impossible with whiteout conditions.
