August Death on Wind River Reservation Was Homicide
RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — A central Wyoming coroner has ruled a shooting death on the Wind River Indian Reservation this summer was a homicide.
The Fremont County coroner's office says 29-year-old Lawrence J. Oldman bled to death on Aug. 26 after a gunshot perforated an artery.
Chief Deputy Coroner Erin Ivie said Friday she couldn't comment on any other wounds Oldman may have suffered.
Ivie said she did not know if the FBI had completed its investigation. The agency did not respond to requests for comment.
