The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says we can expect another windy day today in southeast Wyoming, with rain and snow possible by Sunday.

The agency posted this statement this morning:

High Wind Warnings will continue today for areas along and east of the Laramie Range. Stronger northwesterly winds will begin to pick up shortly after sunrise and continue through the afternoon. Gusts of 60-70 mph are expected. Winds ease after sunset today, but are expected to pick up again after sunrise Thursday. A High Wind Watch is in effect for most of the Nebraska Panhandle Thursday.

But while the winds should die down over the next few days, cooler, wetter weather is on the way:

Strong winds will continue Thursday east of the Laramie Range and especially in the Nebraska Panhandle. High Wind Watches are in effect for most of the Nebraska Panhandle for Thursday, where northerly gusts of 60-65 mph are possible. Winds ease and turn more westerly for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will be on the rise for Saturday with these westerly downsloping winds, as temperatures warm into the mid 70s in the Nebraska Panhandle. Pattern change to a cooler and wetter pattern for Saturday night, on into next week. Snow looks to be pretty common along and west of the Laramie Range, with overnight snow and a daytime mix east. Could begin to see accumulations Sunday night into Monday.
