CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Highway Patrol will be out in force this Memorial Day Weekend.

The patrol says it will be paying particular attention to enforcing seat belt law as part of a nationwide enforcement campaign.

The campaign is an attempt by law enforcement officers across the United States to reduce the number of unrestrained fatalities and injuries associated with vehicle crashes.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Col. Shannon Ratliff says the best way to accomplish the task is to take a zero tolerance approach toward drivers and passengers who fail to buckle up.
