With severe winter weather expected for much of Wyoming and the United States, officials with the Casper-Natrona County International Airport are reminding potential air travelers this weekend to check with their air carrier prior to their scheduled departure time.

Glenn Januska, the manager of the Casper-Natrona County International Airport, says it may be particularly difficult to make trips east this weekend.

"Even if the weather looks great in Casper, the likelihood that somebody could get out east (Saturday) could be hampered," Januska said. "Checking ahead of time can save people from coming out to the airport only to find out that there's problems."

Those traveling out of Casper can visit CPR’s website or call (307) 472-6688 prior to their scheduled departure time for travel information.
