Water Problems In Midwest and Edgerton [UPDATE]

*UPDATE*  Water restrictions are now in effect for residents of Midwest and Edgerton, following a main water line leak in Midwest’s Hospital Hill area. Dolly Harrison, Midwest’s town clerk, says crews repaired the initial leak Tuesday afternoon, but another break occurred after the water was turned back on.

Repair crews now hope to restore water to the area sometime Wednesday.  In the meantime, water restrictions will continue for residents of Midwest, Edgerton and for those served by the Hospital Hill water line.

Harrison said absolutely no outside watering will be permitted until the line is fixed.  She also requests residents in the area affected to use common sense when using water until the repairs have been made, and water service restored.
