LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss the job profile for the new UW president.

The meeting will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Old Main board room on the Laramie campus. It is open to the public.

Trustees will confer with a representative of the consulting firm assisting UW in finding a successor to President Tom Buchanan, who is retiring next year.

The consultant also is meeting with members of the public and the campus community this week regarding the presidential search process.
